Mika Lin

I am a semi-realism artist. I started my art journey since I was two years old and had been self-taught ever since. My parents were not supportive of my passion when I was little. So, I learned most of my art skills through watching animation movies and observing my surroundings. I had always been fascinated by the environment around us and would spend hours observing shapes and colors. Wherever I go, I would always bring a sketch book to draw down inspirations from my surroundings. I developed great interested in character and clothing design from watching Ghibli Movies, Sailor Moon, Mermaid Melody, Keroro Gunsou, and Ojamajo Doremi . When I got older, I went to college to better improve my passion. It had helped me better improve my art skills in anatomy and color theory. I later on graduated with an Associate degree in Fine Arts. It is my dream to create art as a living and hoping in the future, that dream can come true.
